Terms learnt:
- Fixer

Photo search:

- Image Bank, Getty Image, Corbis Image, Fotosearch - icpress, microfotos

Process learnt -- Proposal discussion, brainstorm, and elements (corporate video):
- analyse client's brief
- search information about the client and their products/services
- jog down the captions which client use in client/web
- look at relevant videos, client's videos, client's editor videos
- search images (general/specific use for proposal) and put in reference folder
- initial draft of editorial flow + on-screen captions
- develop creative concept (theme teaser, caption display)
- develop camera style, reference (colour reference, camera reference-move,not move, any interviews

Techniques I have learnt/reviewed:


1. To have a small video output from final cut pro, it is better to export it with the clips original codec (the highest quality one) without compression (Quicktime). Then compress it with another software.


2. Learnt from NG Channel this compression spec --

h.264 960x540
restrict to 2000 kbits/sec

audio: ACC 128 kbps

= 77mb (on average 5min clip)
